Gut杂志是欧洲胃肠病学联盟的官方期刊，创刊于1960年，由英国医学杂志出版集团（BMJ Publishing Group）发行。经过60余年的发展，该期刊已成为胃肠肝病学领域最具影响力的国际权威期刊之一，在胃肠病和肝脏病学科的期刊中排名全球第5。作为国际顶尖的胃肠肝病学期刊，Gut旨在报道与消化道、肝脏、胆道系统和胰腺相关的一流领域的重要发现和突破性进展，致力于推动该领域基础研究向临床应用的转化。2025年，Gut的影响因子（IF）为25.8。
近年来，Gut杂志入驻多个自媒体平台，通过自媒体平台与全球读者建立更便捷、更直接的沟通渠道，并能够将最新的研究文章分享给读者。2025年12月19日，Gut在多个自媒体平台宣布启动了2025年Top奖项的评选活动，奖项包括2025顶尖优秀论文奖（Top GUT paper 2025）、优秀作者（Top GUT Author）、优秀审稿人（Top GUT Reviewer）、优秀社交媒体。并在12月25日宣布了最终获奖名单。
其中，12篇文章入围Gut 2025顶尖优秀论文奖候选名单，所有入围文章为Gut主编Emad EI-Omar教授从全年12期杂志各选出一篇，其中5篇来自中国。最终评选出三篇顶尖优秀论文，一篇为冠军（Winner），两篇为并列亚军（Runner up）。四川大学华西医院的文章获得了Gut 2025顶尖优秀论文亚军，唐承薇、黄志寅医师为该文的通讯作者，黄路明、冯哲、杨文娟医师为该文的第一作者。
